The terms governing your use of Lanka Travel Gateway services and travel bookings.

Section 1
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Lanka Travel Gateway website, submitting an inquiry, or confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lanka Travel Gateway (Pvt) Ltd. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our website at www.lankatravelgateway.com and all associated services.

Bookings & Reservations
All bookings made through Lanka Travel Gateway are subject to the following terms:
Inquiry & Quotation
Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. We will provide a detailed quotation based on your requirements.
Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon our receipt of the required deposit and issuance of a written Booking Confirmation by Lanka Travel Gateway.
Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring all traveler details, travel dates, and service requirements provided to us are accurate and complete.
Group Bookings
For groups of 10 or more travelers, special group terms and pricing may apply. Please contact us for a tailored group travel proposal.
Section 3
Payment Terms
The following payment schedule applies to all bookings unless otherwise stated in writing:

Currency & Pricing
Quoted prices are in USD unless otherwise specified. Exchange rates are indicative. Final amounts in LKR will be calculated at the prevailing rate on payment date.
Section 4
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing immediately. The following cancellation charges will apply based on the time of cancellation before your travel start date:

Amendments
Amendments to confirmed bookings (date changes, itinerary modifications) may be subject to amendment fees and availability. Please contact us as early as possible.
Section 5
Force Majeure
Lanka Travel Gateway shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
In such events, we will work collaboratively to provide alternative arrangements or credits where possible. We strongly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel.
Section 6
Travel Documents & Insurance
It is the traveler's sole responsibility to ensure all necessary travel documents are valid and meet the requirements of Sri Lanka and any transit countries.
Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended travel dates. We are not responsible for entry refusals due to invalid documents.
Visa Requirements
Sri Lanka requires most foreign nationals to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to arrival. Visa requirements vary by nationality — please verify with the Sri Lanka Department of Immigration.
Health Requirements
Some destinations may require specific vaccinations or health certificates. Please consult your healthcare provider and check current Sri Lanka travel health advisories.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and personal liability. Lanka Travel Gateway cannot accept liability for losses that would be covered under standard travel insurance.
Section 7
Limitation of Liability
Lanka Travel Gateway acts as a travel organizer and coordinator. While we take every care to select reliable service providers, we must note the following limitations:
We are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense incurred by travelers during their trip.
We are not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators, guides).
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss including loss of enjoyment or opportunity.
Our total liability in any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for the affected services.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
Section 8
Traveler Conduct
We expect all travelers to behave responsibly and respectfully during their travels with Lanka Travel Gateway. This includes:
Respect local customs, traditions, and religious practices
Follow instructions from tour guides and drivers for safety
Refrain from behavior that disturbs other travelers or locals
Comply with environmental guidelines at natural and heritage sites
Follow laws and regulations of Sri Lanka at all times
Not engage in any illegal activities during the tour

Intellectual Property
All content on the Lanka Travel Gateway website — including text, photographs, videos, logos, itineraries, and design elements — is the exclusive property of Lanka Travel Gateway (Pvt) Ltd or its licensed contributors, and is protected under copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
Section 10
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
Dispute Resolution Process
- In the first instance, disputes should be raised directly with our customer support team.
- If unresolved, mediation through an agreed neutral third party may be pursued.
- Legal proceedings shall only be initiated as a last resort.
